I believe that struggling with maths is rarely about ability , it's usually about gaps in understanding that compound over time. My role is to identify exactly where those gaps are, rebuild the foundation, and then move forward with confidence.

I don't just teach to the exam. I want students to genuinely understand the material so they can apply it flexibly, adapt to unexpected questions, and ideally  start to enjoy the subject.

My engineering background showed me how powerful mathematical thinking can be when applied to real-world problems. I became a tutor because I wanted to pass that clarity and confidence on to students who were being taught maths in the abstract, without context, and struggling because of it.

Outside of tutoring, I work on web development projects, run my own business, and enjoy playing football. I'm also a big believer in lifelong learning, which is why I love working with students who are curious and motivated to improve.
